What I led
Built an AI product that helps people in Spain understand bureaucracy, official letters, appointments, tax notices, residency tasks, and local procedures.
Why it matters
Shipped an iOS and web service with multilingual support, official-source grounding, subscriptions, and reliability gates for high-stakes bureaucracy questions.
DECISION RECORD
Problem and stakes
People navigating Spanish bureaucracy often receive official documents and instructions they cannot understand or act on with confidence.
Role and scope
Built Guiri solo across product strategy, UX, web and mobile delivery, AI architecture, observability, and subscription operations.
Key decision and trade-off
Grounded answers in official sources, designed for multilingual clarity, and added 13-language preflight and automatic rollback before critical AI changes.
Systems and artifacts
Guiri iOS and web product, RAG retrieval, official-source ingestion, LLM tracing, multilingual flows, product analytics, subscriptions, and deployment gates.

Product bet
Guiri is an AI product for immigrants and expats in Spain who need plain language help with bureaucracy, official letters, appointments, tax notices, residency, health access, and local procedures.
My role
I shaped the product strategy, UX system, AI assistant behavior, growth surface, reliability loop, and operating model. The build spans React, TypeScript, Supabase, Edge Functions, OpenAI workflows, document analysis, multilingual support, pricing, and deployment governance.
What I designed
The product combines a public education layer, the Ask Guiri assistant, document scanning, source-grounded answers, city and procedure guides, account and usage logic, and Guiri Pro.
Operating system
Ask Guiri has a deploy gate, 13-language preflight, rollback behavior, canary checks, incident routing, and monitoring. That matters because an AI product answering bureaucracy questions cannot be treated as a casual demo.
Evidence boundary
Guiri is a live independent product build. The strongest claims are about product strategy, UX, AI grounding, reliability practice, and operational discipline.
Why it matters
Guiri shows the kind of product leader I am when the problem is ambiguous and real: I can define the wedge, design the service, wire the AI workflow, create guardrails, and build the operating discipline around a live product.
